Happy Herbert's Largest Distributer To Open Second Warehouse.
Jersey City, NJ. - June 1, 2005 - Happy Herbert’s announce today that its largest U.S. distributor, Newark, NJ-based Snacktree International will be opening a second warehouse in Kingston, NY. This warehouse will allow the distributor to provide improved service to its customers in Westchester County, NY, Upstate NY, and Connecticut. It will also allow the distributor to expand its geographical reach to Albany, NY. The warehouse will be opened in July, 2005. A third warehouse is in the planning stages for Long Island, NY. Snacktree International currently services about 300 accounts in NY, NJ, CT, and PA.
At a joint press conference held at Happy Herbert’s headquarters here, Dale Weingarten, V.P. of Snacktree International said “as a result of the exploding demand of Happy Herbert’s brand of snacks our sales are growing too rapidly to adequately service all of our accounts out of our Newark, NJ facility. With the current rate of growth of the Happy Herbert’s line, we are confident that our customer list will increase to at least 500 accounts by the end of 2006.”
